Lena Fletcher, CEO of Congrex, reckons that Örebro has everything the discerning conference delegate could wish for. And she knows what she’s talking about. As part of her job supporting organisations and businesses planning and holding conferences and congresses, Lena has visited and cast a critical eye over all the major meeting destinations and

conference centres in Europe. In her opinion, only Edinburgh in Scotland is better.
“One of the great benefits of Örebro is that it’s a relatively small town”, she says. “This means that a major congress attracts a lot of attention. “The ability to “own” a town for a few days is a real advantage in PR terms.”
